Hello, glad to have come across this forum, looks really good and will be a useful link for future - hope I can help someone one day!
Hoping someone can help with an issue on my 2014 S3. (55,000 miles, regular servicing)
Fairly loud humming sound coming from the rear as I drive. A decent local garage has done a check of the bearings, they seem ok. It's a funny one as the sound is much louder as I 'free wheel', even at very low 2-3mph speeds, but as soon as I apply even the smallest amount of accelaration the sound/humming reduces by 50-70%. I thought it was bearings, but at such low speeds it did seem a bit odd. Thought of tyres, but again the speed is very low.
Any advice would be very much appreciated.
