Knocking on front offside Suspension

It's only noticeable on rough Shropshire roads, or when reversing the offside front wheel over a slight bump at low speeds.

Yes, I know, I need to take it to be looked at, but anyone know what this is likely to be?

It's not the wheel bearing, or CV Joint, could it be a front shock absorber? Had the rears replaced already, so the fronts are probably due.

Ha, I don't think this is a factor, I got it for nothing at 194k with no service history, its a case of what wears out quickest, and then it's probably that.

BTW, as you're a VW Fan, I also have a 1973 412LS Variant...used to have a Bay, Beetle, and Squareback too, all sold on now.
