Interface Cable

Hi Guys,

Just bought myself 2014 S3 and couldnt be more happier. Just one thing, i currently connect my iphone 6 via bluetooth but would like to use the connection on the arm rest.

Couple of things;

- looking at purchasing OEM interface cable from Audi but retails at ?63 is this worth is as opposed to a cheap item from ebay etc?

- Once connected via cable, can you control your phone from the stereo instead of changing tracks etc. on the phone direct?

- Also once connected via cable can you also select playlists on the phone?

I've been using BT but will check using an older phone later on today on the way to work and will report back.

Just to confirm you can select tracks, playlists, albums, etc from your MMI through the AMI Cable.
