It was not available from the factory. I bought it from the dealership and they installed it. Completely stupid move by Audi not to make it an option from the factory.

Yeah, me too. I am OCD when it comes to my cars (life really) and the idea of clipping an opener to the visor, having it in the small glovebox or console just did not work for me. Got it installed but way to much drama with AofA. Thankfully the dealership handled it with no issues.
