Dsg gearbox issues

Ongoing issues with s3 dsg stronic 7 speed gearbox. Bought December 24. Had 2-3 months hassle free driving. Then gearbox malfunction started to appear. Usually 2-3 gear doesn’t shift up goes into limo mode in 2nd gear have to turn car off an on to reset. Fast forward almost a year and problem is still there. Mechatronics unit has been replaced, dsg pump has also been replaced. No slipping of clutches that I can tell. Could this be a software issue? I contacted audi and apparently my gearbox is due a software update. Thanks. James
