New update this week, Got my Tints and swapped the wheels, my 2016 S3 wheels still have a good amount of thread left decided to put them on for now. Will post a better pick when the weather clears up.

I do believe that the newer ones are slightly lighter. I swapped the wheels since I basically put in these tires a week before trading for this beauty.. I'll end up selling these wheels before summer time lol.
