Noises

Hi,

I bought a Rs3 8p 2011 and after driving it for an hour I started to hear rumbling from the back which I put down to the exhaust valve sticking (since have greased) still rumbling.

After a week I then noticed after continuous driving I started hearing a tinny whinging noise from the front passenger side.

I have 14 days left to give the car back as the garage believe the car is ok

Can anyone help or had similar sounds with and 8p

That's hard to give an answer from a noise description without hearing it. I would probably pay the money to have it inspected by a mechanic that you trust to evaluate the noises that you hear.
I know the turbo in mine makes a sound that I wasn't familiar with but it appeared to be the same on other S3's that I've test drove so I wasn't worried about it.
I have no whining from any parts of the car or any other weird noises.
